Two Paths to Ownership

Build a market from the ground up, or take over a territory that’s already growing. Both paths lead to the same training, support, and Command Center backing — the difference is where you start.

Start-Up Territories: Build It From the Ground Up

What is a Start-Up Territory: A city/DMA/territory with no existing Scoop Soldiers location. It’s yours to develop from the ground up.

Start-up territories are built for owners who want to be hands-on in every part of the business, in a market that’s completely untapped. There’s no existing Scoop Soldiers presence to purchase — you’re building a client base and brand presence in your market from day one. HQ support and expertise are available throughout, but the growth is yours to drive.

You’ll work with HQ to finalize your protected territory, typically based on where you live and work. From there, our training program prepares you to launch, market, and operate to Scoop Soldiers’ standards from day one.

Your investment includes full access to Scoop Soldiers’ initial training program, covering marketing strategy, building a client base, growing brand awareness, and running daily operations to Scoop Soldiers’ standards. Most owners open for business within about three months of signing their franchise agreement.

Many owners choose a start-up territory simply because it’s the market they already live and work in — you don’t need prior business or franchise experience to succeed here.

Is a Start-Up Territory Right for You?

You might be a great fit if you:

  • Want to build your customer base and reputation in your own market, from the ground up
  • Like the idea of shaping the business your way, right from your own community
  • Enjoy the “first 90 days” grind — local marketing, first-customer wins, building word of mouth
  • Live in or know your target market well
  • Are hands-on by nature, especially early on
  • Have some working capital cushion beyond the initial investment, since revenue builds gradually rather than starting at an existing run rate

Existing Territories: Get a Boost With a Market Already Growing

What is an Existing Territory: A city/DMA/territory Scoop Soldiers has already been operating and growing a customer base in. As a franchisee, you purchase the territory and take over ownership and operations.

Existing territories offer the chance to buy into a market that’s already been built, rather than starting from zero. HQ establishes and grows these markets first, so by the time a territory is offered to franchisees, there’s already a customer base, brand awareness, and a track record in that community.

Taking over an existing territory means stepping into an established market without the early-stage work of breaking into a fresh one alone.

Existing territory owners pay the standard franchise fee and start-up costs, plus an additional charge per established client. Owners also have the option to acquire existing employees and equipment along with the territory. You’re not starting from a blank slate, but you still have real control over how you grow the business from there — a hybrid of a start-up and an acquisition.

Existing territories are currently available in various markets throughout the U.S.
